スクールカレンダーの交換

T先生がUNRWAの先生と今後の日程調整を始めました。

まずは、お互いのスクールカレンダーの交換が必要ということで、年間スケジュールをメールしました。ところが、日本語でまとめられたスクールカレンダーは細かく、英語にするのは大変です。しかも、UNRWAの先生は、英語はある程度できますが、それほど英語ができません。

そこで、休日だけをまずはしっかり抑えようということでK中学校の休みの日をメールしました。

April 23rd is the School Opening Day.I'll try to tell you Japanese Holidays Week.The end of April through around May 5th is called "Golden Week" in Japan.Many Japanese national holidays are during this period.The first holiday during Golden Week is April 29. The birthday of the former emperor Shouwa. Called showa-no-hi (Showa Day).The second holiday is kenpou-kinen-bi (Constitution Memorial Day), May 3.The rhird holiday is midori-no-hi (Greenery Day), May 4. We show appreciation for nature.The last one is kodomono-hi (Children's Day), May 5th. We pray for the healthy growth of children.How many National Holidays do you have in Syria?

ところが、UNRWA側からこのメールに対して返事がありませんでした。こんな状態でどうテレビ会議や交流の調整をしていこうか、課題となりました。
